Aerotek Quality Inspector in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Pay: 24-27

Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for the first article inspection of machined component parts from the Swiss machining department. This role involves extensive documentation and requires the use of general inspection tools and engineered prints to ensure the quality of parts being produced.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first article inspections of machined component parts.

  • Utilize general inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

  • Work off of engineered prints to ensure part quality.

  • Perform heavy documentation for all inspections.

  • Assist in the machining transition process.

  • Ensure adherence to quality control and inspection standards.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (GD&T knowledge).

  • Experience in quality checking machined components.

  • Knowledge of quality control terminology and standards.

  • Basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • CMM Programming and operation experience - PC-DMIS.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
