Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Scalable Azure Cloud Application Development: Work with customers to help build applications at scale in the Azure Cloud that meet business requirements.

• Seamless Collaboration for Migration Solutions: Collaborate with the migration team in the analysis, design and implementation of technology solutions.

• Strategic Analysis and POC for Seamless Migration: Conduct analysis and proof of concepts for new solutions while working collaboratively through any issues that arise during the migration.

• Influences, leads or owns functional strategies

• Drives progress and pioneers with solutions in a way that can take the whole company onward

• Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends and develops process, product or service - improvements

• Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

• Can lead, if needed, international projects/teams or conducts special projects

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Deep experience in Azure cloud environments (AWS or GCP knowledge are nice to have, but not required)

• Ability to lead and design complex, distributed architectures in Azure cloud environment, with special focus on Networking Architecture.

• Deep knowledge of cloud governance models and well architected frameworks

• Subject matter expert in hybrid / multi-cloud networking. Knowledge and hands-on of all Azure Networking related services is mandatory.

• Very good knowledge of Azure Landing Zones concepts. The job will require architecting, building and automating Azure Landing Zones using Terraform.

• Very Good knowledge of Azure services related to Compute, Storage, Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancing, Identity & Access Management, Security is required.

• Configured and managed hybrid networks spanning multiple cloud platforms and on-prem networks

• Has led the design and development of multiple complex, business critical applications throughout the application lifecycle
