PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and expectations and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan, based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts.
As a Developer / DevOps, you will join a Scrum team that is responsible for implementing test automation concepts, tools and infrastructure, derive best practices, train colleagues, and ultimately increase test automation effectiveness of Application Development teams. You will work with the Development and Test Engineering teams to build innovative automation systems, automate testing, and build automation tools.
You will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team, working with agile methodologies in a hybrid setup.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree in information technology, mathematics or engineering
DevOps experience and interest
Experience with tools required to set up CI / large-scale test automation infrastructure (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, Chef, Linux, VMWare, Git)
Deep operating system knowledge (Linux, Windows)
Containerization know-how (Docker)
Development skills
Good understanding of test automation concepts
Good English language skills
Ability to understand, analyze and manage complex systems and infrastructure
Ability to own and effectively drive a complex topic in a large, multi-location development program
Show drive for proactive problem solving
Ability to work in new, dynamic environments
Open minded, problem-solving attitude and positive spirit
Creative thinking, willingness and ability to learn quickly new concepts and technologies
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a Developer to join our central test automation scrum team in Budapest.
Your tasks will include the following:
Set up and monitor test automation tools and infrastructure suitable for the specifics of our product, our development organization and our processes
Develop, operate and monitor test automation productivity applications for e.g. test system set-up and test data deployment, test case management
Evaluate test automation tools, new technologies, work on proof of concept
Work together with test automation engineers and quality engineers in application development teams
WORK EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of experience as devops engineer/test automation engineer
