Emerson Business Development Manager - Flow Controls in BUENOS AIRES, Argentina
We are searching for an expert business development manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.
A business development manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue and growth. BDM work to build relationships with clients, partners, and other customers to generate repeat business.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Research : identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Set goals : Create a business development plan with objectives, timelines, and methods
Generate leads : Find new customers and prospects through cold calling and networking
Negotiate deals : Meet with clients to discuss the market and negotiate contracts
Analyze data : Use data analysis tools to identify patterns and trends
Monitor performance : Track sales progress to ensure goals are met
Make projections : Forecast revenue and sales projections
Preparation : Of the funnel and monthly sales forecast. Update CRM weekly and present to management
Seek : seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Research : and attend seminars, conferences and events to build your business's network and profile
Help : To plan sales campaigns
Negotiate : Pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
Collaborate : To develop the business sales and marketing strategy.

For This Role, You Will Need:
5+ years in the industrial automation sector, specialization in control and/or isolation valves.
Automation, Electronic, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineer and/or Industrial automation technician with sales experience
Intermediate English written and spoken
Proactivity, Negotiation Skills and strong Results Orientation
Knowledge of the O&G, Mining, Power, Chemical markets
Availability to travel locally and regionally 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
