DescriptionJob Summary: Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary responsibilities include electrical hook-up and checkout testing of low-voltage model and tunnel instrumentation.Minimum Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED· 2 years’ related experience or equivalent education· Basic knowledge of electrical systems and measuring/diagnostic tools· Strong organizational skills· Able to work independently from drawings and specifications with supervision as well as in a team environment· Willing to work extended hours· Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain a government security clearancePreferred Qualifications:· Formal technical training above a high school level· High-voltage experience and training· Basic hand-tool and mechanic skills Special Requirements:Must be able to obtain and remain eligible for a US Department of Defense security clearance during the course of employment Why CUBRC401(k) - No Waiting Period. 100% Vested on date of hire.3% company contribution in the first year of employment, company contribution increases over time.
