Duties: "Issue" Sales Floor Merchandise "Issue" refers to the process of making sales floor merchandise available for customer purchase. This includes placing merchandise in designated locations, maintaining display integrity, and ensuring items are accessible to customers. However, the employer has provided examples of the merchandise, including perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, and vegetable plants. The farm market receives multiple plant deliveries daily and often picks up plants from local greenhouses by the truckload. These plants must be unloaded and placed in their designated locations on the property. Steps for "Issuing" Merchandise The steps include unpacking merchandise from storage, ensuring items are in saleable condition, arranging them in displays, and replenishing stock as needed. Type of Setting and Merchandise The setting is a retail farm market. Merchandise includes perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, and other related items. Check and Mark Merchandise This refers to verifying the inventory against shipment documentation and marking items with price labels or inventory tags to ensure accurate stocking and pricing. "Store" Merchandise and Tools Used Merchandise is stored in designated stockrooms or backroom areas. Employees may use carts, dollies, and hand trucks to transport items to and from storage areas. Cash Register Use The cash register is used to complete sales transactions. Employees performing these duties will have specific cashier responsibilities, including ringing up purchases, handling customer payments, and issuing receipts. Cleaning of Facilities or Sites Cleaning involves the retail sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal using tools like brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, and garbage receptacle. Vehicles Used Employees may operate lawn mowers and weed eater to maintain exterior areas of the property. Stock clerk: Rec Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

No education or experience required. On the job training provided.

Work Days Mon-Fri, 6am-6pm, 65 hours/week at $19.80/hour. OT at $ 29.70/hour when available.

Pre-employment drug testing to be paid for by the employer.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
