Job Description

Performs skilled services for repair, replacement, modification and installation of physical plant refrigeration and HVAC related equipment. Performs a variety of tasks requiring advanced skills and expertise to repair and maintain equipment and physical plant associated equipment, such as but not limited to refrigeration compressors, condensers, evaporators, chillers, cooling towers, evaporative coolers and related ancillary equipment. Must possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and select a course of action regarding equipment failures and repair. Fabricates stands, bases and supports by cutting, drilling, welding, soldering and brazing as required. Related electrical and piping as required.

Education And Credentials

High school graduate or GED required. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.Must be EPA certified for refrigeration work.

Experience

Minimum four (4) years experience working with HVAC-REFRIGERATION.
