The Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal standards, and business objectives. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties to support contractual agreements that drive the organization-s success while mitigating risk.
This is a t emporary position expected to last approximately 3 months and w e are looking for someone to work up to 20 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and edit various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), and procurement contracts. Ensure contractual terms align with company policies and legal requirements.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable outcomes for the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve contract-related issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries. Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and operational teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Administration: Assist with specialized administrative functions, including maintenance and updating legal files and contract management repositories and attention other administrative duties as requested to assure efficient operation of the department.

In addition, we are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
A bachelor-s degree
JD preferred but not required
5+ years of experience in contract negotiation and management
Preferred experience supporting Manufacturing, Procurement, and/or Commercial teams
Familiarity with contract management software and tools
Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial agreements
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
Sense of humor
