Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support our senior living community. This maintenance position is responsible for supervising preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment and grounds keeping for the Senior Living community in Burnsville, MN.

This full-time maintenance position includes the following:

• 80 hours in two weeks

• Day shift

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. • Repairs and maintains work orders for residents' individual living apartment homes and community spaces

• Keeps grounds and walkways free from obstructions including snow removal, and operating motorized grounds equipment

• Monitors and performs basic repairs to HVAC, security, safety, electrical and plumbing equipment

• Apartment turnovers

• Daily safety checks of mechanical systems

• Replace fileters and belts as needed

• Repair of building hardware

• Snow removal

• Moving Furniture

• Putting away Supplies

• One to three years previous experience in a similar environment

• Vocation/Technical training preferred

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Desire to work with older adults

• Special Boilers License - State MN (must have upon hire or be able to obtain within90-days of hire date.)

• Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $19.43- $27.43 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience
