Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Bursa, Turkey

We currently have an excellent opportunity to join our Sea Logistics team as a Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist at our Bursa office. In this role, you will work for the import operations in the Sea Logistics Department, handling bookings and assisting customers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics services.

Your Role

As a Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating import shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. You will play a crucial role in linking sales quotations to shipments, handling bookings, and maintaining effective communication with Customer Care Locations (CCL) and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Efficiently handle booking processes.

  • Utilize and input data into systems.

  • Proactively communicate with operational team, customers, carriers, the pricing team, business development team, subcontractors, customs brokers, and other KN offices.

  • Monitor and update shipment statuses regularly.

  • Perform daily checks on free shipping lines controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Follow up with carriers and registered brokers for delivery order status.

  • Document the BAL BL and SWB processes meticulously.

  • Visit customers and carriers as needed to ensure smooth operations and build strong relationships.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Min. 2 years experience in sea logistics and customer care.

  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to manage relationships with carriers and internal stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel for meetings with customers and suppliers if needed.

  • Very good spoken and written English and Turkish is a must.
