BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER Program Operations Assistant (POA) in BUTLER, Pennsylvania
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: Supports the education programs including in classroom assistance at Early Learning Connections.
- Assist in implementing objectives and implementation of the Agency plan according to regulations
- Assist in maintaining up to date electronic and paper files when needed.
- Contribute to the implementation of the plans according to the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
- Attend professional seminars, lectures, workshops, staff meetings, and conferences as needed. Attend regional meeting when required.
- Works constructively with other staff and parents to maintain satisfactory communication.
- Assist the Managers in distribution of information to staff and parents and all aspects of the programs.
- Participate in recruitment events and activities. Serve on the recruitment team.
- Maintain staff and client confidentiality.
- Assist in classroom support when needed.
- Track information as required.
- Assist and attend parent activities and meetings. Prepare and distribute minutes as necessary.
- Complete clerical duties as assigned.
- Advocate and collaborate with community agencies to support child, family and agency outcomes as assigned.
- Provide transportation for parents and children to appointments as required.
- Complete checklists and screenings as assigned.
- Assist Manager in daily operation of Agency Programs.
- Provide babysitting for meetings as necessary.
- Provide monitoring or training as necessary.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
