Job Title: Handyman

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated handyman to join our team. This role involves working with three other associates to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and facility. Handyman will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, performing routine maintenance on building systems, and assisting in general upkeep of the facility. This includes inspecting and temporarily repairing broken machines and defective equipment to prevent delays, as well as calling outside contractors for major repairs. Additional duties include painting, fixing damaged floors and walls, and supporting the Plant Manager with general labor tasks.

The shift is currently from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, but candidates must be flexible with shift timings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain equipment necessary for business operations.

• Inspect and temporarily repair broken machines and defective equipment.

• Call outside contracting companies for major repairs.

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems.

• Assist in facility upkeep, including painting and fixing damaged floors and walls.

• Support the Manager with general labor tasks as assigned.

• Communicate with team members using walkie-talkies.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude to fix basic machines (training provided).

• 1 year of experience with hand and power tools.

• Ability to communicate with outside contractors.

• Ability to read and follow safety regulations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
