Description

Our client is hiring a construction manager to join their CM team and work full time for a project in Callao, VA until completion in the next 6 months. Following this project there is another lined up in James City County, VA. The project you will start out on in Callao, VA is a Solar Site that has already been completed, but the site was left in poor condition by the original contractor who competed the job, we have been hired to handle the Civil and Environmental cleanup portion of the site. you will be overseeing a Civil Subcontractor. The candidate can come from a construction management or superintendent background and will ideally have experience overseeing either civil or environmental construction projects. Experience supporting solar projects is a plus. They will be looking over the work that a civil subcontractor performs, be available to answer questions that they may have, take daily/ weekly progress reports utilizing Procore software. Need experience managing subcontractors, tracking materials, making progress reports, communicating with clients, etc.

For the right candidate, we are open to someone who lives in Virginia willing to take per diem if you are not in a commutable range.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00
