Kelly Services Sales Support Representative in Cambridge, Ontario

Kelly Services is seeking a full-time permanent Sales Support Representative to support our client, a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) parts and services for industrial companies across North America based in Cambridge, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.

  • Process customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).

  • Influence gross profit by negotiating sale prices and purchase prices within designated parameters.

  • Adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profitability.

  • Build lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business and suggest process improvements.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by ordering items as needed.

  • Source products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory.

  • Determine the most cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.

  • Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles within an industrial setting.

  • Knowledge of industrial products, MRO supplies, or manufacturing services is an asset.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively support sales teams and interact with customers.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, data entry, and documentation.

  • Problem-solving mindset to assist with customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure seamless sales operations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales representatives, customers, and internal teams.

Compensation/Perks:

  • Salary range $55,000-$65,000 per year (based on experience).
