Job Description Associate Director, Logistics Business Operations and Strategy is responsible for leading the enterprise Logistics organization to top tier performance by working with internal and external stakeholders to optimize our overall network to become more standardized and efficient. Drives the business operation process improvements and strategies to deliver and support business growth plans. This individual will be the primary thought leader for driving optimization efforts, continuous improvement projects, productivity improvements, metrics development, and overall asset utilization across our network. This leader will drive best practices, standardization, analytics, project delivery, optimization initiatives. The role works collaboratively with all Regional Warehouse leaders, Real Estate, Master Data Transportation, Network Optimization, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Customer Logistics, and Sales. Principal Responsibilities 40%- Responsible for driving the enterprise Logistics strategic initiatives and project execution efforts. Accountable for developing and executing the strategies that will deliver an optimized and standardized network. Leads and supports key project initiatives improving productivity, facility standardization, site utilization, while maintaining an optimal cost profile. Drives cross functional end to end supply chain interdependencies ensuring seamless project delivery. 35% - Identifies and supports end to end business operation and process improvements efforts. Drives network productivity, standardization, and efficiencies improvements. Leads the analytics of key data streams identifying insights that will drive strategic direction across Logistics. Acts as a liaison between the business operations and operational teams driving execution within the network to improve processes and/or costs. 25% - Provides overall enabler and capital program governance for the Logistics organization. Leads cross functional teams partnering with the Regional Warehouse leaders, Real Estate, Transportation, Network Optimization, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Customer Logistics, and Sales to achieve enabler goals and capital project execution. Leads and supports enablers projects to achieve annual goals. Leads Capital planning and project execution to achieve annual goals. Job Complexity / Scope Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage/influence change. Delivers against financial Logistic targets and budgets. Ability to develop and gain alignment for complex business cases. Serve as the executional program leader to drive strategic logistics initiatives optimizing end to end supply chain costs.
