Job Title: Maintenance Electro-Mechanic Salary Range: $27-36/HR Report to: Collingswood, NJ (in-person)

Schedule: M-F (Saturdays as needed)

Description

Locate breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairs

 Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipment Install, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.)

Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipment

Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceeding

Adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programs

Maintains OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

 Must be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in the food manufacturing sector

Experience in electromechanics, mechanical manufacturing, or other relevant training

Strong attention to detail and ability to intervene safely, quickly, and effectively

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in all types

Must read and write English

Able to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs

 Ability to work in a fast paced, refrigerated environment

Able to function in a team environment through communication and cooperation

Education/Training:

High school diploma or GED required.

Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to lift up to 60 lbs. must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed.
