Robert Half Medical Billing Specialist in Camden, New Jersey

Description We are in search of a Medical Billing Specialist to be an integral part of our team, located in Camden, New Jersey. The Medical Billing Specialist will be involved in a range of responsibilities within the healthcare industry, focusing on the efficient processing of medical billing, claim administration, and customer communication. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the processing of patient medical billing and ensure accuracy in all transactions

• Administer claims with meticulous attention to detail to ensure prompt and accurate compensation

• Utilize the EHR System and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to maintain and update patient records

• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer inquiries related to billing and claim administration

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action as per the company's guidelines

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of billing functions, adhering to industry standards and regulations

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department

• Utilize expertise in medical billing to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them effectively

• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in the medical billing industry

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and maintain the highest levels of professionalism at all times. Requirements

• Proficiency in Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Experience with EHR SYSTEM

• Knowledge of Billing Functions in a medical setting

• Familiarity with Claim Administration

• Prior experience in Medical Billing is necessary

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving

• Ability to adapt to new systems and procedures quickly

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of medical billing.
