General Summary As the leader of the Decision Support team, the Senior Manager, Decision Support Lead will drive improved decision-making in the business by providing real-time, insightful yet standardized analytical support with the help of data science tools. This incumbent employs a deep technical skill-set to provide faster access to business-specific analytics and reporting, creating efficiency and consistency across regions and functions. This role enables business counterparts (i.e., plant finance team, logistics finance team) to focus on partnering with the business. This role is an essential component of Snacks Supply Chain Finance and should ultimately take advantage of analytics over data aggregation and reporting to better drive Snacks business strategy and stay ahead of the competition. This role maintains consistent contact with plant, region and functional resources to uncover new opportunities to centralize, standardize and drive efficiency. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively within the supply chain finance matrix. The candidate will be expected to partner across snacks supply chain finance (plants, HQ, logistics), the enterprise supply chain finance team and controllers group. Principal Responsibilities 15% Owns preparation and timely publishing of daily, weekly, and monthly mgmt. and business reports and key metrics. This includes analysis and performance insights for plants, BUs and the Snacks business. Leverage best practices to standardize and automate standard monthly and annual reporting 15% Accountable for preparation of baselines for budget and forecasts. Manage the planning calendar as directed by the SCF Leadership and drive consistency by collecting and consolidating standard AOP/Forecast templates and loading them to SAP 15% Refresh monthly forecast by updating with latest results, evaluating variances and completing reviews. Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models and update assumptions as required. Conduct scenario modelling and generate preliminary insights 10% Manage data aggregation process with an aim towards reducing overall time required for data gathering and aggregation. Distribute aggregated data either in the form of real-time data analytics, or through a central data repository that plant and functional resources can access for ad hoc analysis enabled by a robust request management 5% Maintain Snacks supply chain finance master data, ensuring data quality meets organizational standards and provides an appropriate foundation for the development of industry-leading analytics. Maintain and refine KPIs and planning assumptions 20% Responsible for fostering a deep analytical and continuous improvement focus within the COE. This includes continuously refining and adding to the existing reporting and analytics environment (developing new reporting dashboards or operationalized insights as necessary) as well as staying up-to-date on cutting edge
