SUMMARY

Responsible for elevating Retailer Technician recruitment, performance, and retention through the management of programs such as Stature and PINNACLE leveraging data and resources such as STTR, Dispatch, and FRFT metrics. Drive program effectiveness through large-scale events, such as NTC, ABC, and NBC and foster, awareness, understanding, and improvement through analytics and insights.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the process, performance, promotion, budgeting, and effectiveness of Technician incentive programs such as PINNACLE and Stature.

  • Evaluate performance metrics such as training attainment, certification status, tenure, and Fix Right First Time scores to improve technician accountability, engagement, and retention.

  • Manage and provide reporting on incentive program budget, expenditures, and retailer and partner billing ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with financial targets and constraints.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data related to technician awards, safeguarding the reliability of information flowing into and out of the STATURE framework.

  • Explore and present opportunities for incentive program growth and refinements to promote technician recruitment, engagement, and retention.

  • Research and provide periodic executive briefs on program performance, health actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Retail Operations Training and Field Operations on Incentive program alignment and consistency.

  • Manage the development, refinement, evaluation, and for Retailer performance metrics such as Subaru Technical Training Requirements (STTR), Dispatch, and FRFT scores.

  • Research and provide periodic executive briefs on program performance, health actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Drive Retailer performance, leveraging supporting initiatives such as LPCCA.

  • Continuously refine data workflows through collaboration with partnering SOA departments such as Retail Operations Training, IT, Claims, and CAD, to support business objectives.

  • Serve as the key stakeholder from Technical Training in the planning, coordination, and execution for large-scale events, including but not limited to the National Training Conference (NTC), Aftersales Business Conference (ABC), and National Business Conference (NBC).

  • Manage Technical Training attendee organization, communication, and overall conference budgets.

  • Strategize and plan expo and breakout session initiatives including collaboration with all verticals within Technical Training.

  • Coordinate planning across all groups in Service and Quality to ensure cohesive messaging.

  • Collaborates with internal/external contacts as needed (for daily business operations, training, systems, projects/roll outs, vendor management, etc.)

  • Ensures communication between national and field teams for all service technical training technician retention initiatives

  • Provides career planning and development opportunities for the Service Training LMS Specialist.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Star-U Learning Management System (LMS), with comprehensive expertise in its capabilities, configurations, reporting, and integrations.

  • Continuously design, track, and refine key performance metrics to assess content effectiveness and drive improvements in the overall customer experience.

  • Attends and presents at conferences to train the field and other staff on programs and incentives.

  • Support Bi-Annual National Technician Competition – assisting as needed with setup, hosting, logistics and planning.

  • IT request and project proposal expertise.

  • Budget management and financial analysis expertise.

  • Good organizational writing and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Subaru systems including Star-U, NorthStar, Foundations, DEM, and other Technical Training related resources.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that satisfies the requirements of SOA Driving Record Evaluation Criteria Policy.

  • Must be approved as an “Authorized Driver” by Risk Management to operate vehicles prior to vehicle operation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)

  • Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50lbs.

  • Office: SOA HQ Campus - National Service Training Center (NSTC)

  • Required Travel: 15-25%

COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $92,100 – 127,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
