Job Description

One of Insight Global's large healthcare clients in South Jersey is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist to join their team at the main hospital. This individual will be responsible for conducting ultrasound scans on the overnight shift. The main scans for this role will be pelvic, DVT, abdominal, pediatrics and some OBGYN. OBGYN scans will be mainly to rule out ectopic pregnancy. DVT exams will be mostly legs (lower extremity), with some cases relating to arms (upper extremity). Technologist with Vascular scan experience is highly preferred. Vascular work of this team mainly consists of arterial scans, PBR (Pulse Volume Recording), and duplex. Additionally, the Tech will on occasion work with Dialysis grafts. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for communication with Radiology Residents, nurses, and other staff members to ensure sound patient care.

Skills and Requirements

• Registered ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist

• 1+ years experience as an Ultrasound Tech

• Comfortability with overnights! - Experience in a high-level trauma center/environment

• Experience as an Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) or with vascular scans

• Pediatric experience null
