Robert Half PART TIME HR Generalist in Carlsbad, California

Description We are in search of a dedicated HR Generalist to be a part of our team in Carlsbad, California. As an HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and training and development. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the recruitment process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews.

• Review applications and resumes, ensuring the selection of suitable candidates.

• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, providing them with a smooth transition into our organization.

• Manage employee relations, promptly addressing any grievances or conflicts that arise.

• Foster a positive work environment through effective organizational development strategies.

• Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, ensuring all issues are resolved appropriately.

• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance.

• Provide constructive feedback to employees and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.

• Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate relevant training programs.

• Facilitate detail oriented development opportunities for employees, promoting career growth and development.

• Ensure compliance with training requirements, keeping our organization in line with industry standards.

• Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with our organizational goals.

• Communicate these policies to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence. Requirements • Proficiency in Career Development strategies and programs

• Strong understanding of Employee Relations and conflict resolution

• Knowledge and experience in HR Compliance, including legal and industry standards

• Ability to formulate, implement, and interpret HR Policies

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration, including record-keeping and data management

• Proficiency in Interviewing techniques and candidate assessment

• Understanding of Organizational Development and change management

• Experience in Recruitment - Sourcing, including modern recruitment platforms and strategies

• Ability to handle sensitive matters such as Terminations with professionalism

• Experience in Training & Development program design and implementation TalentMatch®
