TITLE
Weatherization Program Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of five years experience in construction, rehabilitation, and/or energy efficiency techniques.
- A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
- Possession of a valid State of Michigan Builder's License is preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of Building Codes.
- Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Lead-Based Paint Certification.
- Ability to obtain Energy Auditor (EA) and Quality Control Inspector (QCI) certifications within three years of the date of hire.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, digital camera downloading, and ability to learn new computer programs and enter data in state-required software.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel throughout the service area.
- Must successfully pass all agency-required background checks.
WAGE
$33.00/hour plus agency fringe benefits
Fringe benefits include but are not limited to, a 4-day work week, health insurance, life insurance, paid annual and sick leave, and 11 paid holidays per year.

Mondays - Thursdays, 40 hours/week

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervision to assigned staff.
- Coordinate Home Weatherization Program production, oversee Lead Abatement Program crews and other energy conservation-related project production, as assigned.
- Comply with required standards, guidelines, federal/state regulations, and objectives of all programs within the area of responsibility.
- Establish and maintain accurate records that will meet the reporting/monitoring/auditing requirements of assigned projects.
- Implement quality control/safety checks, ensure MIOSHA compliance, and assure staff compliance with all safety regulations/requirements.
- Maintain excellent public relations with customers and the community at large and maintain positive conduct.
