SMITH SYSTEM MANUFACTURING CO Customer Support Intern in Carrollton, Texas

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Account Coordinator delivers excellent service and deliverables to all Smith System customers, both external and internal, using multiple communication platforms and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides excellent customer service, and supports different clerical tasks within the Client Success Department Provides back up to front desk by answering phones, screening calls, and transferring to a specific person or department. Understand each departments responsibilities and who the managers and supervisors are in order to properly transfer or escalate calls, or emails to the correct department or person. Understands how Smith System does business and becomes familiar with our client base, such as dealers and end users (schools), is able to transfer calls according to their business needs. Interfaces with other departments as needed to ensure orders have current information, and our dealer partner is well-supported. Is familiar with The Client Success Team responsibilities and accounts, to accurately navigate assignments, or transfer to the correct person on the team. Understands and is able to navigate each system utilized by Client Success Team, to properly update or fill out all information or fields required (Salesforce, SharePoint, Windfall, Dealer Portal, Word, Excel, Power Point). Can provide basic knowledge of Smith System products, and navigate Smith Systems website and catalog, to provide answers to questions, via email and phone calls. Updates order log spreadsheets, by logging in new orders each day, reports any missing orders to Senior Order Entry or Supervisor for investigation. Visits Cataloger online ordering websites to print new orders and process. Maintains cataloger websites by acknowledging orders within 24-48 hrs., once they have completed entry. Request, or updates Freight Dimensions when required, and accurately enters information provided by the freight department. Provides any other data entry support as assigned by the Supervisor, across the department. Provide other administrative support, assigned by the department manager. Operates common office equipment, like scanners, printers, and laptops. Types all data timely and efficiently.

WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Customer service experience preferred. A working knowledge of windows-based applications: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint required.

ABILITIES REQUIRED Must display a friendly and comfortable approach when engaging clients over the phone. Strong sense of urgency for deadlines and projects. Strong organizational skills Possess an elevated level of attention to detail. Individual contributor, as well as a team player Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, often with interruptions. Candidate must exhibit extreme ownership and see tasks through from start to finish. Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills required. Flexibility with schedule when a deadline is approaching. Adaptable to a changing environment; strong people skills
