Description We are seeking a Billing Coordinator with expertise in the construction industry to join our team based in Cary, North Carolina. The role involves managing all aspects of billing, with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and AIA Billing processes. The successful candidate will leverage their skills and experience in AR, AIA billing, and Viewpoint Vista software to effectively manage customer accounts and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complete billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.

• Prepare and submit AIA billing applications promptly and accurately.

• Monitor and maintain Accounts Receivable balances, ensuring timely collections.

• Generate and send out invoices using Viewpoint Vista software.

• Coordinate and resolve any billing queries both internally and externally.

• Perform account reconciliations and execute month-end procedures.

• Collaborate with the construction project team to ensure accurate billing data.

• Create reports on billings, collections, and receivables.

• Handle customer inquiries related to billing and collections.

• Maintain an up-to-date billing system and customer files with sales contracts and other information. Requirements • Must have a thorough understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in AIA Billing is required

• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software is essential

• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is highly desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or a related field

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
