Jacobs Entry Level Architect - Summer 2025 start in Cary, North Carolina

At Jacobs, we don’t just design buildings; we design state-of-the-art facilities that simplify our everyday lives and power our virtual world today and into the future. We push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter, more connected and more sustainable.

Join our Advanced Manufacturing Facilities team as an Entry Level Architect, providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You’ll design various types of facilities using mainly Revit and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval. You may also support preparation of drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project. You will work alongside, and be guided and mentored by Registered Architects and Professional Engineers, while you push yourself to expand on your architectural knowledge and client-facing skills. This position is considered hybrid/remote but we encourage entry-level staff to live within a commutable distance to one of our larger US offices so that they can be fully engaged as they build their network and career at Jacobs.

Bring your creativity and attention to detail, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow.

Targeted start date for this role is summer 2025

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup
