Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be playing a crucial role in managing the financial information of our organization, with a focus on payroll transactions. You will be engaged in numerous accounting and finance tasks, and working with internal employees to process requests and answer questions.

Responsibilities:

• Enter, review, and audit payroll transactions

• Troubleshoot discrepancies and correct entries related to pay including State Tax, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Workers Compensation, and more

• Ensure compliance with company policies and state laws

• Communicate through phone and e-mail with employees to answer questions, process requests, and troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience within a time working system is a plus

• Understanding of the payroll process

• Knowledge of Benefit Function
