Middle/High School Business Teacher

The Central City Community School District is accepting applications for a Secondary Business Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year school year.

Courses currently include various year and semester long Marketing, Accounting, General Business, Business Law, 7^th^ and 8^th^ grade computers,

and HS Computer Science coursework.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES

Develops weekly plans

Maintains on-ongoing, open communication with parents.

Participates in on-going in-service and educational development opportunities provided by the district.

Staff must believe in and act in accordance with the districts mission statement.

EDUCATION / SKILLS and ABILITIES

5-12 Business certification, or willing to get

5-12 Computer Science, or willing to get

5-12 CTE Information Technology, or willing to get

Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintaining an overall positive and professional attitude/disposition.

Ability to use a computer

Ability to effectively plan, organize, and implement educational curriculum.

POSITION DETAILS

Continuing contract position.

Compensation will be based on the Teacher Salary in the Master Agreement.
