Wells Fargo Product Management Senior Manager, Debit Card Payments Services Leader in CHANDLER, Arizona

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Management Senior Manager to lead the Debit Card Issuance, Production and Personalization functions and team. This role is responsible for leading the overall issuance, production and personalization strategy for Wells Fargo debit card, which includes setting the long-term vision for these capabilities, optimizing vendor performance across SLAs and financials, actively managing card inventories, card designs and ensuring a strong risk culture across controls, compliance, legal and regulatory domains and leading the team responsible for these functions. This role requires cross functional partnering with debit card transaction processing, debit card controls and programs, digital wallets and tokenization and Deposits while also enabling consistent adherence to payment network rules and regulations in alignment with all Consumer and Small Business products. In this role, you will:

  • Manage teams, develop talent and create a high performing product management team to optimize a best-in-class, industry leading debit card product strategy

  • Consult, develop, market, and manage performance analysis for products that have high impact on companywide growth opportunities and success

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product management team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables

  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts and multiple levels of management across a diverse cross section of disciplines

  • Interact directly with complex vendors, third party providers and core card suppliers

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for product management, business execution and business systems consultants

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development towards high performance to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Financial product management experience – banking experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of consumer payment industry transactional processing strategies, third-party management policy and consumer compliance requirements related to payment products (REG E, UDAAP, BSA/AML, OFAC)

  • Experience leading product strategy and execution related to debit card issuance, plastics production and personalization

  • Demonstrated expertise managing large scale initiatives and programs and being able to deliver at scale in a highly regulated and fast changing environment

  • Expert verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

  • Strong Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to effectively communicate, create and deliver dynamic presentations to all levels of the organization

  • Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment activities and programs

  • Strong relationship management and proven leadership skills, with solid conflict management, negotiation, and organizational effectiveness techniques

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Experience providing horizontal oversight and managing multiple high priority function

  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
