Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking candidates for the position of Strategic Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst. Successful candidates in this position will provide strategic financial planning, reporting and analysis support to a USG agency in Northern Virginia.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Budget/resource management (in terms of keeping track of and providing status on) of the USG component’s budget to include TITAN, Service Level Agreements, PETs, etc.
• Provide extensive support in the annual spend planning exercises and FYDP formulation of the component’s budget which includes developing correlating defense/justification of budget requests and response to Congressional/OMB pass back and Congressional marks.
• Support in the execution of the component’s budget (e.g., reviewing all funding requests, monitoring commitment, obligation, expenditure status, providing monthly updates to chief of staff and front office leadership).
• Support to chief of staff and other senior leaders on resource and data analytic-related requirements and issues.
• Provide support in research, analysis and drafting responses utilizing systems such as ALM, BASIS, COGNOS, BCR, etc.
• Researching, analyzing and drafting responses for acquisition-related financial data (e.g. BASIS, COG NOS and other financial systems) resulting from inquiries that include tasking from Congress, DNI, etc.
• Develop, run and analyze reports from COGNOS (both acquisition and financial reports):
o Understand and be able to analyze contractual and financial related data located in BASIS and other financial systems.
o Convert data into "placemats" or graphics for the purposes of senior executive level briefings and have necessary skillset required for doing so.
• Serve as focal point for a variety of data calls such as:
o DNl's Core and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC)
o Contractor Human Capital Data Call
o Enterprise/CORE/FFRDC FTE Inventory Program
• Support the development of new processes for acquisition data which requires coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders such as business analytics, global financial solutions, budget/finance and plans.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• An Industrial Security Staff Approval/Top Secret (ISSA/TS) clearance with polygraph.
• Experience in acquisitions, contracts, finance, logistics and resource management specific to the USG agency.
• Experience with creating and running Cognos reports for acquisitions and financial.
• Experience with budget/resource management.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
