Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be crucial in managing financial statements, coordinating audits, and optimizing cash flow. This is a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the completion of the monthly closing process.
• Conducting comprehensive analyses of financial statements.
• Collaborating with department managers to establish cost budgets.
• Assisting with the formulation of Capital Expenditure plans.
• Working closely with business managers to create and apply tools and metrics for evaluating business performance.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in processes.
• Ensuring a robust system of financial controls is maintained.
• Coordinating the annual financial audit process.
• Achieving cash flow objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Controller.
• Proficiency in performing Month End Close activities.
• Proven ability to analyze Financial Statements with accuracy and precision.
• Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis and management.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
