Lowe's Sr Manager, Agile Operations in Charlotte, North Carolina

Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver Agile practices for global product and engineering teams. The role is responsible for educating the organization on Agile best practices, developing a maturity roadmap, and coaching and developing the scrum and coach teams to adopt and

implement lean and agile mindsets and practices. Additionally, the role will be responsible for championing, governing, scaling, and measuring the success of operating frameworks for execution and delivery and identifying areas of improvement in processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Defines and drives the agile strategy at SVP tower, including defining and deploying consistent agile practices, operations, processes, and metrics to achieve execution consistency and predictability. Acts as an influencer, advisory and consultant for the SVP.

• Develops an overall Agile journey maturity model with established and ongoing health assessments and coach teams and measures overall progress toward goals. Anticipates and resolves potential blockers for the business.

• Facilitates organizational learning, change management, and process adoption of Agile via metrics, benefits realization, outcomes, and retrospective findings.

• Determines scrum master alignment and allocation, implements Scrum Master as a Service (SMaaS), and facilitates cross-functional team initiatives and manages complex dependencies.

• Serves as a change agent and influences the adoption of operational excellence mindset and agile practices throughout the organization.

• Leads a team in support of achieving the company’s mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

• 8 years of experience in Agile operations or project, product, or business management

• 4 years of experience leading cross-functional program, project, or technical team(s) in a global, matrixed organization, with or without formal direct report responsibility

• 4 years of experience with Agile techniques, Agile methods, and hybrid models

• Ability to work strategically and tactically in a high complexity environment with limited direction

• Proven ability for problem-solving through relationship building, collaboration, and effective communication

• Data-driven, analytical, and strategic mindset with the ability to clearly present complex problems and solutions

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Master's degree in computer science, CIS, Business Administration or related field
