Honeywell Sr Project Manager - Procurement in Charlotte, North Carolina
As a Sr Procurement Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will hold a key role responsible for executing procurement projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal part in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment across the procurement function. As the Sr Procurement Project Manager, you will lead complex projects and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives. You will report directly to our Director of Sourcing Transformation and you will work out of either our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, or Houston, TX hub on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in project management, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations. You will ensure that procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own Corporate procurement projects from initiation to completion ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and timeline.
Assist in implementing strategic sourcing practices, including supply chain resiliency, identifying cost-saving opportunities, drive value and innovation.
Assess and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and quality control, to ensure continuity and quality of supply.
Support the management of the procurement budget and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with Cross functional stakeholders to maintain relationships that foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure that procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards, including ethical and sustainability practices.

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum 6 years of experience in project management, Sourcing, Operations, or engineering related field.
Advanced proficiency in Project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc,)
2 + years Proven ability to present at the leadership level reports and dashboards.
Risk management experience including using tools like Heat maps, FMEA, excel.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to drive results and meet project objectives.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven project management skills leading scope develop, facilitating cross functional engagement in large organizations, manage timing, risk, resources and budget. Able to guide teams to make decisions quickly.
Knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
