Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $40.00-45.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Conduct supplier qualification and development

• Collaborate with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally

• Address nonconformances with conducting containment, RCA, and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures

• Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier

• Participate design review as main interface of SQM with design engineers

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science Degree required in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline. Masters Degree desired Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

• Experience performing supplier qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers

• Experience in leading projects and running virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment

• Extensive knowledge in welding and coating. CWI certification preferred

• Knowledge of ISO & ASME Standards
