Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $40.00-45.00 per hour
What's the Job?
Conduct supplier qualification and development
Collaborate with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally
Address nonconformances with conducting containment, RCA, and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures
Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier
Participate design review as main interface of SQM with design engineers
What's Needed?
Bachelor of Science Degree required in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline. Masters Degree desired Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Experience performing supplier qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers
Experience in leading projects and running virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment
Extensive knowledge in welding and coating. CWI certification preferred
Knowledge of ISO & ASME Standards
