Deloitte Workday Finance Grants Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Work you'll do

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of the Workday Finance Grants Management module to align with organizational objectives and strategic goals.

  • Oversee the provision of ongoing support and maintenance for the Workday Finance Grants Management module, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.

  • Direct the troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues related to grants management within Workday, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Conduct and supervise regular system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance with relevant regulations, and adherence to organizational policies.

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for end-users on the Workday Finance Grants Management module, enhancing user proficiency and system utilization.

  • Create, review, and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides and process manuals, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and optimize grants management processes within Workday, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement best practices, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Generate, analyze, and interpret reports related to grants management, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies, proactively addressing any potential compliance issues.

  • Lead and support internal and external audits related to grants management, ensuring thorough preparation and successful audit outcomes.

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workday Financials, with a focus on grants management.

  • 8 years implementing and supporting the Workday Finance Grants Management module.

  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on work requirements and client industries/sectors served.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

    Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.

  • Experience with other financial management systems.

  • Project management experience.
