Job Title: Silk Screener

PAY: $20-25/hr

Job Description

Complete part identification including silkscreen per required Job Traveler instructions to meet customer print/specification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review Job Traveler to ensure operations have been completed.

• Complete part identification per Job Traveler requirements.

• Complete part identification per referenced specification(s).

• Apply identification per requirement (ink stamp, silkscreen, etching pencil).

• Apply inks per RMFI Work Instruction (WI - Use Directions For Part Marking Ink).

• Use or create silkscreens as required by order.

• Review part or material condition prior to marking (100% visual inspection for part damage, burrs or finish issues).

• Identify nonconforming material and notify quality personnel.

• Provide first piece for inspection for quality approval.

• Complete documentation (process records) needed for Job Traveler and Vista system.

• Maintain order control and identification in the department.

• Understand responsibilities to AS9100 quality management system.

• Ensure safety requirements are met for personnel protection and use of hazardous materials.

• Blueprint reading

• Schematic reading

• Part identification

• Visual inspection

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of silk screening experience

• Ability to read and understand customer prints/drawings

• Knowledge of dimensional tolerancing (desired but not required)

• Ability to log in and complete operations in Vista

• Understanding of QMS Procedure (Production) as it relates to this department

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
