Insight Global Vehicle Analysis Specialist in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Job Description

o A client in the greater Chattanooga area is looking to hire a Vehicle Analysis Specialist. This individual will be responsible for the commissioning of pre-series vehicles. They will look into any errors to ensure buildability of vehicles and on time delivery.

o They will work together with UPS and Pilot Hall Assembly time to ensure Pre-Series vehicles archiving CP8 in time. They must document rework time per vehicle and time spent on tasks. They will identify and perform root cause analysis through evaluation of data and hands on techniques. They will then summarize the results in a short documentation for management and present findings during all escalation meetings that they lead.

o They will analyze measurement reports, CAD data and drawings, and technical descriptions for any buildability issues and distribute the report in relation to the project status. They will perform sample production trials to detect any defects and confirm any product changes, and will provide product "re-work" instructions and one time training lessons.

o 80% on product, 20% computer

Skills and Requirements

o Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

o Background in automotive manufacturing

o Experience with building/testing wire harness and E-Basket in automotive industry

o Experience with shared network communication, electronic networks/systems, such as: CAN, LIN, Ethernet

o Solid change management experience

o Experience leading escalation meetings

o Strong presentation skills null
