Philips FP&A Analyst - Senior Manager in Chennai (ex Madras), India

Join Philips, a global leader in health technology, as the FP&A Ops Chennai. In this pivotal role, you'll drive financial process excellence and provide actionable insights to support our commitment to operational innovation and manufacturing excellence. As FCP team lead, you will be responsible for the process standardization and improvement, bring more insights/transparency on the Capex Investment to the key stakeholders.

You are responsible for

  • Lead the Product team, identify and nurture the talents.

  • Be the subject matter expert of Capex Investment, initiate and drive standardization and continuous improvement with Lean approach.

  • Ensure use of standard SAP Capex Investment capabilities. Work with EIM/BPO organizations to improve/build SAP capabilities to increase efficiency & transparency.

  • Improve Capex Investment predictability and shorten the Leadtime through simplified WoW

  • Develop/drive collaborative process and supporting reporting tools that enable transparency and monitoring of Capex Investment.

  • Ensure 100% On Time delivery (OTD) and 100% First Time Right (FTR)

  • Ensure the adherence of accounting principles and reporting policies.

  • Adherence to SOX / internal control standards (ICS) for Capex Investment.

  • Perform regular customer pulse checks to ensure deliverables are value added and meeting internal customer needs.

  • Support operational excellence (e.g. cost optimization) initiatives.

  • Drive adoption of digital solutions, embedding these solutions within business processes and actively contributing to communication and trainings

  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, ISC Finance & functions to consult and support process standards, policies and guidelines.

You are a part of

You will be part of GBS Chennai team as well as FP&A Ops Team. Your regular work location will be Chennai, India. You will be working very closely with ISC finance team, manufacturing sites, BPO team and functions such as procurement and manufacturing. You will have the interface with accounting Operations, Enterprise Information Management as well as IT specialists.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree Finance, Accounting or Engineering.

  • At least 8 years finance related working experience, including more than 3 years in manufacturing industry, preferably within the international environment.

  • Finance experience across Operations/Supply Chain is strongly preferred

  • Post-graduate qualification like MBA, MSc, CFA, CPA, CMA preferred

  • Hands on, pro-active, solution driven, very accurate but with sense of big picture across the integrated supply chain and businesses.

  • Visible passionate leadership style

  • Ambitious (willing to grow within organization) and flexible

  • Successful track record and ability to achieve financial commitments (perform and transform at the same time)

  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, able to build bridges between people

  • Strong analytic and Microsoft office skills (required)

  • Experience with SAP, PowerBI is preferred

  • Profound understanding of accounting principles including Finance compliance requirements
