We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Throughput Engineer to join our team and optimize the efficiency of Global Paint shops. You will play a crucial role in analyzing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.

• Develop and maintain discrete Event Simulation models using industry-standard software (Siemens Plant Simulation and/or Simul8)

• Collaborate with engineers, other stakeholders to gather requirements, define model scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Design and implement simulation experiments to analyze various scenarios, including line balancing, bottleneck identification, and capacity planning.

• Analyze simulation results and generate insightful reports, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting data-driven decision-making.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in discrete event simulation and automotive manufacturing.

• Contribute to the development of simulation methodologies and frameworks within the team

• Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in discrete event simulation modeling, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Proficiency in Siemens Plant Simulation Tool is desired.

• Programming skills (e.g., Python, Java).

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in automotive assembly and production lines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
