Responsible for developing and testing applications on backend systems/platforms.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Excellent & deep knowledge of Scala, Spark, SQL

• Deep knowledge in Spark dataframe, optimization

• Produce unit tests for Spark transformations and helper methods

• Hands on experience on CI/CD based deployment

• Involves in development and testing on day-to-day basis

• Works on DevOps model

• Good understanding of Datawarehouse, Cloud (AWS) technologies

• Dockers, and Kubernetes is a plus

• Experience on agile methodology is a plus

• Collaborate with product development teams on defect management

• Works under lead supervision

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

• Proactive participation and effective communication in team discussions

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
