Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
You will carry out quality assessments and measurements on products within specified dimensions. Experience with inspection in the Aerospace industry is highly preferred. This position requires a high level of detail orientation and the ability to pivot from one project to the next as needed. You will inspect 200-300 subassemblies, each with multiple parts, and complete visual and hands-on inspections, review tolerances, and ensure parts meet specifications. You will also check parts and complete data packages (manual and electronic).
• Completes first article inspections, generating reports and PCMM points maps detailing product quality.
• Develops and maintains inspection reports.
• Ensures compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Performs inspections across all stages of production.
• Prepares and maintains test data for review.
• Evaluates data and drafts reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
• Identifies areas for quality control improvement and implements new methods accordingly.
• Communicates quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
