Job Title: Programmer and Operator

Job Description

Candidates will work with CAD/CAM programs and interpret large commercial drawings for the fabrication of sheet metal for the sides of Curtainwall units. You will learn to operate CNC equipment for metal fabrication, including saws and other specialized equipment. This role involves programming, process management on machinery, identifying and interpreting digital 3D drawings, and reprogramming for various runs. Candidates must have experience in programming from a machine shop or related metal fabrication facility. The role is technical in nature, requiring movement through various programs and use of hoists for moving larger pieces of sheet metal or glass. You will work both in the office and on the plant floor, ensuring accuracy of product output through practice runs with Operators.

Work Environment

Non-climate controlled facility filled with loud machines and many assemblers, creating a busy manufacturing environment. The product is stored both inside and outside. The team environment is very close-knit, working with large pieces of glass, sheet metal, and steel frames. You will work closely with the Plant Manager, Engineering Team, and production teams.
