Description We are in the process of recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst for our team located in CHICAGO, Illinois, United States. This role falls under the Education - University industry and is a short term contract employment opportunity. The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for a range of tasks, including managing technology-related issues, maintaining hardware systems, and providing technical support to users.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve technical issues related to desktop hardware and software

• Oversee and maintain all desktop systems and peripheral devices, including monitors, printers, etc.

• Handle password resets and Wi-Fi connections for users

• Utilize Active Directory for user and system management

• Provide support for various operating systems, including Windows 10 and Chrome OS

• Use ticketing systems like Service Now to log and track user issues

• Perform troubleshooting for PC and basic wireless network issues

• Implement configuration management and backup technologies

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Android applications

• Provide support for Cisco, Citrix, and Dell technologies, as well as for Apple devices. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong skills in Android Development, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required, including knowledge of network protocols, routers, and switches.

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies is essential, particularly in the deployment and maintenance of virtualized applications and desktops.

• Experience with Dell Technologies is critical, including the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Dell hardware and software.

• Must have a deep understanding of Active Directory and its associated services, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

• Proficiency in the use of Apple Devices is necessary, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MacOS and iOS.

• Experience with Backup Technologies is crucial, including the deployment and maintenance of data backup and recovery solutions.

• Must be well-versed in Configuration Management, with the ability to maintain and improve system configurations to ensure optimal performance. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
