As a DPI UX Design Apprentice, you’ll join our dynamic Product Experience Team, where we work closely with product managers and product owners to deliver usable, meaningful, and valuable digital products to market efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in UX design and gain hands-on experience across various product domains in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

  • Create high quality UX deliverables in support to product requirements and desired outcomes.

  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers and business stakeholders to understand issues, constrains and limitations to find acceptable solutions

  • Partner with Portfolio Lead and Product Stakeholders in designing, implementing and analyzing ideation and discovery activities.

  • Plan & conduct UX research and design/process validation activities (i.e., user discovery/testing)

  • Monitor/Measure/Evaluate design performance (i.e., data analysis)

  • Determine the ideal methodologies and deliverables for the project need.

  • Successful completion of the DPI career development program

  • Experience with Figma

  • Ability to understand business goals and user needs

  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills

  • Ability to process and synthesize complex information & present it back to others in a simple and easy to understand way.

  • Ability to understand others perspectives and quickly grasp the key elements of their roles, processes, and activities.

  • Ability to advise and provide ideas in a wide range of topics, even if outside their core expertise (Design Thinking & Consulting)
