Description and Requirements
Position Description
This finance position is based in the iconic Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago and will be part of Motorola Mobility’s Finance Team.
As a FP&A Analyst in the Mobile Business Group (MBG) FP&A group, you will provide global FP&A support to the MBG Business Unit’s Finance Manager for Monetization, IoT and other FP&A activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts for Trademark & Brand Licensing and IoT
Lead the monthly invoicing, outlook and close process for Trademark & Brand Licensing
Assist in the financial reporting, analysis, and management of IoT business
Support royalty process for IoT specific partnership(s)
Set-up and maintain the MBG Product Structure
Prepare and report monthly and quarterly financials for overall Product Organization, including variance analysis
Assist in other monetization financial activities as needed
Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
0-2 years of work experience, preferably within the industry
Preferred Requirements
Possess strong analytical abilities; prior experience working with large data sets preferred
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Proficient in Excel, BPC, PowerBI, Sharepoint, Google sheet, Google presentation and SAP
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $52k- 69k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
