Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician will be responsible for running tests on various products including fats and oils, and perform some wastewater testing. Will perform testing on raw materials, in-process, and final products. The role involves a combination of wet chemistry and analytical testing such as pH, titrations, UV, GC, and more. Data entry of test results and will notify supervisor of any discrepancies or out-of-spec results. Typically, you will run 10-15 samples per hour.

Hard Skills

• Bachelors Degree in the sciences; preferably Chemistry

• Prior lab experience (experience from undergraduate lab work or industry)

• Good computer skills

• Critical thinking and ability to problem solve.
