You will be accountable for the coordination and enabling the site Asset & technology leader in the overall loss prevention of the plant equipment and process technology, site facilities & buildings to support delivery of the SQCDSM metrics. You will ensure un-interrupted service is provided by 100% compliance to Local legal regulations, Quality, Health Safety & Environment management systems and standards.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.

  • Help create preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn parts.

  • Aid in the transfer of knowledge of best practices in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including motors, conveyor belts, and packaging machinery.

  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and inventory levels.

  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

  • Train others on the use of diagnostic tools and creating capability for the maintenance workforce.

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance reliability and efficiency.

  • Advanced knowledge (including AM-Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 systems & Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment(s) at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (BD-Breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment(s) and TPM - Phase 3 & 4 tools problem solving tools.

  • The capability to lead a Role for the Line. Qualify and coach the next level work process owners and drive the common opportunity areas across the line in PDCA-Plan Do Check Adjust approach.

  • Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & experience in ERP systems. Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written), Analytical & Problem solving skills, strong collaboration and relationship management skills.

What you need to know about this position:

  • Equivalent technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Vibration Analyst, Lubrication Technician, Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Specialist in an industrial setting, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting.

  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment, bearing types and electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and their components.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

  • Reliability certifications are a plus. CAT I, CAT II, MLT, MLA, CMRP

Education / Certifications:

  • High School Diploma (Required)

Job specific requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting (required)

  • Lubrication maintenance experience

  • Manufacturing experience (required)

  • Food Manufacturing experience (preferred)

  • Computer proficiency, MS Excel knowledge (preferred)

  • Maintenance Reliability knowledge and experience (preferred)

Work schedule:

  • Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:00pm)
