Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team! Ketchum is looking for a real foodie. Do you have a passion for understanding the behind-the-scenes of all things food - where it comes from, how it’s sourced, the sustainability practices used, and new technologies that make it safer and healthier? Do you love consuming news about new culinary trends and chefs and getting excited about new menu items at your favorite eateries? Do you have experience working on integrated marketing teams with a strong understanding of print/digital advertising as well as emerging social media channels/digital marketing? This could be the perfect role for you!
Responsibilities:
Serve as point of contact for key clients
Plan and lead integrated marketing projects; drive timelines and budgets
Work closely with creative and production teams and outside vendors to execute print and digital projects so that they come in on schedule and on budget
Brief media, creative, and research staff and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies that meet the client’s creative brief
Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' businesses, competitive environments
Provide strategic and creative ideas; engage in strategic planning on clients’ business and agency business
Develop full range of written materials including creative briefs, conference reports, presentations, press releases, website updates, sales presentations, proposals, client correspondence and tracking reports
Drive content for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows, promotions, media relations
Qualifications:
We’re looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Diversity of thought and background are encouraged. Typical qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred
Three to five years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
