The Role
At Hyatt Hotels, IT Governance Risk and Compliance is a very important part of our mission to take care of people so they can be their best. The Sr. Manager – IT Risk Management plays a crucial role in completing that mission by ensuring Hyatt identifies all regulatory and compliance mandate across the organization and ensure that we proactively adhere to them. As the Sr. Manager of the team, this individual will act as a liaison between our internal and external auditors to convey priorities related to compliance efforts within the Technology organization. Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following.
•Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
•Being the subject matter expert on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and how it impacts the technology.
•Expertise in additional compliance standards such as SOC1/SOC2, NIST, CIS, etc.
•Collaborate with key stakeholders and executives to review and assess special initiatives and cross-functional projects.
•Keep up to date with external security and compliance regulations and security best practices to lead the improvement of internal security and compliance policies and procedures as required.
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, external assessments, risk management, regulatory compliance, and information security in a corporate environment.
•Experience managing and responding to audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance reporting.
•Ability to formulate compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience Preferred:
•Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field; master’s degree a plus
•Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CHC, CIPP, PMP, or CAPM or similar are a plus.
•Experience with GRC specific systems

The salary range for this position is $108,800 to $153,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
