Job Title: Stationary Engineer
Job Description
Operate and maintain the boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems. Assist with the installation of packaging and production equipment as needed, including vertical and horizontal packaging equipment. Utilize the CMMS system to order parts, track work orders, and complete orders. Make appropriate adjustments to the equipment used in the process to maintain required steam quality and maximize efficiency. Immediately report any accidents or hazardous incidents and prepare the plant for maintenance using proper LOTO and SWP procedures.
Responsibilities

Report any accidents or hazardous incidents immediately.
Prepare the plant for maintenance using proper LOTO and SWP procedures.
Essential Skills
4 plus years of stationary engineering experience from manufacturing or large commercial setting.
City of Chicago - Stationary License.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with HVAC, boiler systems, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, and repair.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and plant engineering.

Work Environment
Need to be open to 1st and 3rd shifts, with shifts running from 6-6 on a 4-week rotation. The rotation includes 2 weeks on nights and 2 weeks on days, following a 2 days on/2 days off schedule. PPE and GMP are required while on the floor, including hair nets, beard nets, face masks, and steel-toed shoes. The company is closing down in 2026, but the Maintenance Team will be the last to leave in May 2026.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
