0 Account Manager Reporting directly to the Sales Talent Development & Key Accounts Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for developing new customer relationships and managing oleochemical sales and services of PCNA business products. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: B.A. or B.S degree in a Business-related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. Kind & Length of Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a marketing or sales position. Must reside in the northeast region of the United States; New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maine etc. PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Identify, develop, and grow sales within assigned sales territory. Use CRM, sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services. As well as analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends; Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services; Consult with Business Managers to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information; Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms. Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications. Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements. Diligently maintain accurate and current customer records, using automated systems, including but not limited to CRM system; Identify prospective customers/markets by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences. Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing. Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations. In your absence you are responsible to ensure that the tasks assigned to the absentee is adequately covered by them or trained personnel Share customer information/product risk information, including: SDSs Brochures; Specifications; Appropriate end uses and safety hazards; and Other requests as appropriate; Where relevant, enforce blocks on products until customer is "qualified" by determination of appropriate use or ability to safely handle Peter Cremer NA's product(s); Initiate management of change (MOC) for new products; and; Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, Security Requirements covered under Local State and Federal Regulations; Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures and other requirements; Other duties as assigned.
